Tropical, West Coast inspired landscapes for East Coast Homes
"We always strive to incorporate Florida native plants and forms of xeriscaping in most of our landscapes. Our shared love of the laid back California aesthetic is what truly inspires our designs, but it's our addition of the tropical flora of Florida that makes a true Morel Landscape."

Exterior Designer + Manager
Growing up in Canada dreaming of a warmer life; Annhy's decision to move to sunny Miami in 2003 was fortuitous to say the least. Her design career started in 1996 in her hometown of Toronto, working at notable design firms Yabu Pushelberg, and Gensler in New York City. In 2004 Annhy curated and directed a $1M public riverwalk juried art competition on the Miami River for developer Jorge Perez. Since then, Annhy has developed Art programming for the Viceroy Hotel; created marketing strategies and branding for local start-up brands like GinnyBakes and Marimekko Miami and designed and managed luxury hotel and multi-family developments. Currently she heads up SHIM PROJECTS a multi-disciplinary design studio working on interior design and real estate development projects in Miami and New York.
Annhy attributes her love of plants to her childhood backyard, filled with memorable rock garden walls oozing with succulents (hens and chicks!) and moss along the retaining wall, Forsythia hedges and Canadian Maple Trees. Favorite Plant/Tree: Old School 70's plants like Pothos and Pandanas Trees.
